Notice of service maintenance
Maintenance activity will be carried out on certain of our computer systems between the evening of 12th June and 13th June 2008 inclusive. It is not anticipated that this activity will impact the service provided through our website, although there is a small possibility that there may be some slight disruption, such as a slower response, over that period. Please bear this in mind, and if it is possible for you to conduct any transactions outside of these dates you may find this preferable.

Babergh District Council recognises the important role of its website in providing information and services to its customers 24 hours per day & 7 days per week. We have put services in place to maximise the amount of time the website is available for your use.
Our target, over a 12 month period, is for no more than 2 hours per month to be lost through unscheduled failures; this equates to an availability of 99.7%.
Where scheduled maintenance is required, this will be in addition to the above figure. We will publish the times of any such maintenance, and its likely impact, on our Home Page. We will strive to give at least one week's notice unless emergency maintenance is needed.
