Other methods of getting information
It is now easier than ever with the launch of a new set of phone numbers. Please take full advantage of our telephone line opening times, Monday to Friday. Our busiest times are all day Mondays and each morning between 9am and 11am. You may wish to make your call at an alternative time convenient to you.
- Council Housing: 01473 825757 (9am to 5pm): tenancy information, housing register queries, repairs, home alterations and disabled adaptations in council accommodation.
- General Enquiries: 01473 826622 (9am to 5pm): car parks, concessionary fares, bus passes, travel vouchers, job vacancies, pest control, sport & leisure, anti-social behaviour and other general enquiries.
- Money Matters: 01473 825798 (8am to 6pm): Council Tax, benefits, Business Rates and housing rents.
- Planning: 01473 825858 (9am to 5pm): planning permission and development control.
Except on weekends and bank holidays when the office will be closed.

- Refuse hotline: 0845 6066045 (Local Rate Call) Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm: rubbish, bulky item collection, waste and recycling.
- Payments hotline: 01473 829024: automated payments telephone line available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to pay by debit/credit card for council tax, brown bin renewals, rents, car park excess charges and sundry debtor accounts.

If you have an urgent need for access to Council services when the Council Offices are closed (e.g. burst pipe in Council accommodation, you have just been made homeless) the operators on our Out of Hours Service may be able to assist you by telephoning Flagship Response on 0845 601 3390

Disabled access
The building is fully accessible to disabled customers, with a lift, automatic doors and disabled lavatory. There is also a hearing loop at our Reception desk, Cashiers and in the Council Chamber.
Travelling to the Hadleigh office by car
There is free visitor parking and designated disabled parking at the Council Offices. Additional parking is available in Hadleigh town centre.
Travelling to the Hadleigh office by public transport
For people travelling to the Council offices by bus, there is a bus stop immediately next to the office building. The bus stop name is "Hadleigh Council Offices".

Alternatively you can visit the Sudbury Advice Centre for advice and guidance on County Council, District Council and Town Council services, during the following opening times.

If you intend to make a visit to resolve an enquiry, making an appointment will guarantee that you do not have to wait. Please telephone the relevant team as listed above or the Council switchboard on 01473 822801 and speak to the service you require to book an appointment.
All visitors are seen as quickly as possible but at peak times there may be a delay.
