John died last year aged 68 after a long battle with Cancer. No-one can doubt the remarkable contribution John made to the success of the Bridge Project from which everyone will benefit for many years to come. He led numerous fundraising events, more particularly raising money for equipment and to build a shelter for students. (John's wife Shirley collected his award and is pictured)
