Community Achievement Award Winner 2005 - Russell Leek and his contribution to the community.

Russell Leek

Russell has lived in Elmsett for 30 years and is a very active member of the Methodist Church. He  has set up a Ranger Boys Group and leads them during parade services and drives them annually to summer camp.  As project manager Russell has secured funding of £24,000 for improvements to the village hall and with volunteers has initiated much of the work. Russell also makes scenery and props for the Elmsett & Aldham Players and works relentlessly behind the scenes during each production.
