Aaron Creamer and Leo Scott
Aaron and Leo have been the prime movers over a 5 year period in establishing a BMX facility in the heart of Sudbury - their vision was to secure a facility which could be enjoyed by young people from Sudbury and the surrounding villages. The process has been long, difficult and sometimes frustrating. £32,850 has been raised from various sources including Sudbury Town Council, Connexions, Suffolk County Council Education Service and even a sponsorship ride, of which £25,000 has been spent to date. Their joint role included identifying the site, bidding for funding, designing the layout, applying for planning permission, communicating with the media and involving the young people in the community.
