Alison Copping, Carolyn James & Kirstie Parish

Alison, Carolyn & Kirstie became Trustees of the Lawshall Community Playground Society in July 2000 when they leased a piece of land from the Parish Council for a new playground. Having established the location for the playground the Trustees needed to fundraise for equipment and organised a great many events in the village for this purpose. The Trustees also obtained funding from seven other sources and the first piece of play equipment was installed in January 2004, the playground being completed in the summer of 2005. The Trustees are still organising events to help raise funds for insurance and maintenance of the playground.
