Community Achievement Awards 2006

Summary

Community Achievement Award Winner 2006 - Ashley Seabourne and his contribution to the community.

Ashley Seaborne

Ashley has lived in Elmsett for 15 years and became involved in village activities through the annual village pantomime. He has acted in and directs the pantomine, an event which brings much of the community together. Ashley became a member of the village hall committee and was co-opted to the School Governors as a village hall representative, a post he held for 10 years.  Ashley became instrumental in facilitating the new school buildings. This involved many official meetings and Ashley eventually managed to achieve far more than was originally planned. The school now has excellent facilities and attracts children from other areas. The Headmaster of the School could not say enough about his gratitude and the debt owed to Ashley.
