Community Acheivement Award Winner 2006 - Jack Copping and his contribution to the community.

Jack Copping

Jack is 13 and attends Stoke by Nayland Middle School.  Despite his disability Jack plays a full part in school life and is an outstanding young swimmer, training seven days a week for the Colchester Phoenix Amateur Swimming Club where he has been nominated for and won many awards both in local and national events.  On top of his busy schedule (11 hours training weekly) Jack still finds time to train and be a mentor to other swimmers and is a real ambassador for both his Club and his School.  Jack's dream is to be part of the GB Swimming Squad and to win gold in the 2012 Paralympics.
