Community Achievement Awards 2006

Summary

Community Acheivement Award Winner 2006 - John Maltby and his contribution to the community.

John Maltby

John moved to Kersey 12 years ago and since that time has played a full part in the life of this small community. Whilst serving on the Village Hall Committee, Village Produce Association Committee and the Parish Council he has given many hours of his time as a "doer" for those groups as well as a supporter. John is one of those people, often undervalued, who quietly offer help to all and he always responds immediately when asked for assistance. Examples of his other involvement in village life are his willingness to assist the Church with practical help and more importantly in carving the many beautiful wooden signs for the village.
