John Runnacles
John is nominated in recognition of the outstanding work he has done on behalf of Burstall Parish Council having given 26 years of service, principally as Clerk. John undertakes many tasks and provides agendas, minutes, circulates the Parish “parcel” and attends to all planning applications. As Clerk he has seen six chairmen come and go and has an ever-increasing workload. Quiet and measured in his approach to life, except when scrambling on his motorbike, John has mowed the churchyard, cleared stones for the common ground and assisted with the village show.
