Ben Stiff receiving his community award

Ben decided to take up a 980 mile skateboarding challenge last year from John O'Groats to Land's End for CORDA, a heart and stroke charity, after his friend suffered a bout of strokes when aged only 15. Ben was the youngest person ever to complete the feat and the fastest, taking just 28 days (6 days faster than the previous record) to skateboard the journey. A spokesperson for CORDA said "Ben has done an incredible job of not only raising thousands of pounds for CORDA but also in raising awareness of strokes."
