Tom Day, Andrew Towers and Alex Hutchins receiving their awards

Monks Eleigh Youth Club committee have been involved in running the Monks Eleigh Youth Club since May 2008 and in raising funds for a project to build a multi-use games area and teen shelter on the village recreation field. The group raised funds by organising various initiatives and making funding bids to a number of organisations and finally realised their goal of £38,800 for their new youth facility. They inspired great enthusiasm and support from this venture and have formed a committee consisting of themselves, parents of club members and members of the community.
