What is Community Safety?

Community Safety is not just about tackling crime and disorder. It is about improving YOUR quality of life and reducing the fear of crime.
Babergh has one of the lowest crime rates in the whole of Suffolk. Infact it is HALF THE NATIONAL AVERAGE. You have a 95% of never being a victim of crime.
Although Babergh is very safe the district council are working hard to reduce crime and the fear of crime even more. They have a special team dedicated to community safety issues.
