That the Minutes of the meeting held on 2 July 2009 be confirmed and signed as a correct record.

The Head of Natural and Built Environment provided a powerpoint presentation (subsequently numbered J76) outlining the details of the ‘Minor Variations’ Legislative Reform Order 2009.
The Head of Natural and Built Environment submitted a report (Paper J64) outlining arrangements for integrating the Legislative Reform (Minor Variations to Premises Licences and Club Premises Certificates) Order 2009 into Babergh District Councils duties and procedures under the Licensing Act 2003.
RESOLVED
(1) That an amendment to the existing delegation scheme relating to determination of ‘minor variation’ applications under the Licensing Act 2003, in accordance with the updated scheme contained in Appendix 1 to Paper J64, be approved.
(2) That a report be submitted to Committee in 6 months time on the impact the new procedures.
The business of the meeting was concluded at 10.25 a.m.
