The statement of accounts provides information on the income and expenditure of the Council during the financial year and records the assets and liabilities as at the year-end. Information is also provided on cash flow movements during the year.
The Council’s Accounts for 2006/07 were approved on 26th June 2007 (Paper G31 refers).
This published version is the final version which was subject to audit by the Council's External Auditors (The Audit Commission).

The Audit Commission audit and inspection ‘Annual Letter’ incorporates the Annual Audit Letter for 2005/06. The letter summarises the conclusions and significant issues arising from recent audits and inspections of the Council.
