We are required by law to publish an Annual Statement of Accounts, which are compiled in accordance with a code of accountancy practice laid down by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
Babergh has also produced and published a Summary of Financial Information document to provide a high level view of the Council's financial performance. It includes key financial information such as our gross expenditure, main sources of income (the Council Tax, grants and business rates) and efficiencies. Also included are summaries of our balance sheet, reserves, and capital expenditure.
