Countryside Grants

The council`s grant fund provides financial assistance in approved cases for a range of schemes that protect or enhance the natural environment. These can include tree and hedgerow planting, surgery to important publicly-owned trees, pond creation or management, access to the countryside and the provision of interpretation material. To apply for the grant, please complete the grant application form part one (PDF, 70kb) and part two
(PDF, 75kb).

Conservation Areas and Countryside Management Capital

Financial support is also available in the form of the Conservation Areas and Countryside Management Capital. This has helped local communities with the purchase of sites for facilities such as Millennium Greens, Nature Reserves, Community Woodlands, Environmental enhancements in Conservation Areas.
