Food Safety Training

Summary

Organisations that offer food hygiene training courses.

Babergh District Council runs the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering course several times a year. The current cost is £64 and the dates of the next courses are as follows:- 

  • Monday 11th June 2012 (Venue: Babergh District Council offices in Hadleigh)
  • Monday 17th September 2012 (Venue: Mid Suffolk District Council offices in Needham Market)
  • Monday 22nd October 2012 (Venue: Babergh District Council offices in Hadleigh)
  • Monday 11th February 2013 (Venue: Mid Suffolk District Council offices in Needham Market)
  • Monday 25th March 2013 (Venue: Babergh District Council offices in Hadleigh)

You can also book a group (minimum of five candidates) on different dates from those above and at a different venue if this is more convenient for you. The course can also be run in French (but once again there must be a minimum  of five candidates).

Please contact the Food and Safety Regulation Team on 01473 825888 for bookings, or download the booking form (PDF, 25kb), complete it and return it to us. In order to take the examination, you wll need to provide some photo id such as your passport or driving licence.

As of 2011, if you have already held the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering for more than three years, you can now attend a Level 2 Award in Food Safety Refresher course with Babergh District Council. Please note that in order to do so you will need to provide us with the original certificate you obtained at the time.

The dates for the next Refresher courses are as follows:

  • Monday 23rd January 2012  (Venue: Mid Suffolk District Council offices in Needham Market)
  • Monday 23rd April 2012  (Venue: Babergh District Council offices in Hadleigh )
