Why record your assessments?

Summary

Health and Safety inspectors from the Local Authority or the Health and Safety Executive may ask to see your assessments during a routine inspection, safety campaign visit or accident investigation.

It is important the assessments are reviewed regularly and any action you have identified as necessary to reduce the risk is acted upon.
