Come for an afternoon out to Belle Vue Park. Forget the traffic jams and bring your picnic, buckets, spades and towels for an alternative to going to the beach!
This new play area has been designed to provide lots of interest to children of all ages. At busy periods there is a ranger on site to answer your queries and to help you if you need it. On this site you will find:

- Toddler swings with cradle seats

- Basketball court
- Smashing skateboard park (NOT for BMX users please - bikes are not allowed in the park. There is one especially for BMX just outside the park entrance so you still have somewhere to go)
For the parents/carers:

- The Lite Bites Cabin for drinks and refreshments
- Fitness Equipment
This play area is inspected daily and any maintenance required is carried out either straightaway or as soon as possible if materials need to be ordered in specially. In addition we have an independent inspection carried out once per year by a specialist company to make sure we haven’t missed anything. Our aim is to provide a safe and fun environment for our children to play in.
What We Ask of You:
- Enjoy playing there.
- Please put your litter in the bins provided – that’s why they are there.
- If you discover any damage or are worried about anything you see in the playground, please let us know.
- If you see any vandalism or antisocial behaviour please let us know that too, but telephone the police first.
