RADAR Scheme

The Radar Scheme is designed to prevent anti-social behaviour in disabled toilets, which are often targets for vandalism. Babergh operates the RADAR key scheme (which can be used in over 6000 other facilities nationwide) in some of the disabled toilets – these are:

  • The Green (Long Melford),

  • Cordell Road (Long Melford),

  • The Cock Inn Car Park (Lavenham),

  • Prentice Street (Lavenham),

  • Pin Mill (Chelmondiston),

  • Flatford Visitors Centre (East Bergholt) and

  • Red Lion Car Park (East Bergholt).

RADAR keys can be purchased for £2 each from the Council Offices and local Tourist Information Centres.
