The Babergh district is split into two collection areas, blue and yellow areas (Note: This does not relate to the colour of the bin). To find out which collection area you are in, just click below on your normal collection day and scroll down to find your postcode and then your address.
The background colour of your property's entry will tell you the answer.

Collection Service – The TwinBin Scheme
Your refuse collection scheme involves the use of two wheeled bins. One is a blue bin for the collection of recyclable materials, and the other a black bin for non recyclable waste.The service is operated by our contractor Cleanaway Limited. Every household receives a weekly refuse collection service. One week the recyclables in the blue bin are collected, the next week the black bin is emptied.

Collection Instructions
Please ensure that your wheeled bin is presented at the kerbside for collection by 7am.
Bin lids should be firmly closed.
No side waste will be collected. However, a limited amount of flattened cardboard can be left at the side of your blue bin for collection.
Contaminated Blue bins will not be emptied.
Refuse collection problems
If there is a problem with your refuse collection (domestic or trade), for example a missed collection or lost/stolen bin, you can report it online via Customer Service Direct (CSD) . Alternatively, you can email them, customerservice@csduk.com, or telephone the Refuse Hotline number 0845 6066045 (Local Rate Call).
