Volunteer Litter Picking
Prior to organising or taking part in volunteer litter picking, please take the opportunity to read our Guidance for Volunteer Litter Pickers (PDF, 133kb).
Community Litter Picking
If your town or parish council, school, or any other local community group would like to organise a litter pick then we can help. We have litter pickers and hi-visibility waistcoats available to borrow, and we can provide bags for the collection of litter as well as arrange for the litter collected to be disposed of after the event.
If you would like to organise a community litter pick and borrow our equipment, please contact our Open Spaces section by emailing open.spaces@babergh.gov.uk or by calling 01473 826654.
Adopt An Area Litter Pick Scheme
This is a new initiative to assist individual residents who currently carry out regular litter picks or would like to do this, by providing them with a litter picker and hi-visibility waistcoat to keep.
Please print, complete, and return an Adopt an Area Application Form (PDF, 44kb) if you would like to sign up to the scheme.
