DIY Waste

Small quantities of diy waste will be accepted at one of the household waste and recycling centres in Babergh. If possible try to separate materials as much as possible to allow them to be recycled.

Domestic Appliances

Unwanted domestic appliances can be taken to one of the household waste and recycling centres in Babergh free of charge.  Alternatively we are able to offer a bulk refuse collection service for a small charge. Telephone the Refuse Hotline for more information on 0845 6066045 (Local Rate Call).

Egg Boxes

Schools may collect egg boxes for use as art materials, alternatively egg boxes can be recycled at home, see home composting.

Electrical Goods

Electrical goods can be taken to one of the household waste and recycling centres in Babergh free of charge.  Alternatively we are able to offer a bulk refuse collection service for a small charge. Telephone the Refuse Hotline for more information on 0845 6066045 (Local Rate Call).

Engine Oil

There are special containers for the collection of used/surplus engine oil at all the household waste and recycling centres in Babergh.

Envelopes

Fluorescent Tubes

Fluorescent tubes can be disposed of one of the household waste and recycling centres in Babergh, preferably in their original packaging.

Foil

Food Containers
