Athletics club at the Peninsula Sports Centre in Holbrook

Do you like athletics? Are you aged 7+?
You can learn new skills in Sportshall Athletics;

  • Javelin,
  • Hurdles,
  • Discus,
  • Hammer,
  • Standing long jump,
  • Standing triple jump,
  • Vertical jump,
  • Speed bounce, and
  • Relays.

Weekly sessions are  only £2.50 and are from 6 - 7pm. For more information see the Athletics poster (PDF, 40Kb).

Bury St Edmunds Challenge Walks

Sunday 25th July 2010 - a  charity challenge walk in aid of Forces Charities.

There are 3 distances, 42Km,  25km and  10Km. and these can be done individually or as a team of up to 10 people.

Football Camp Monday 16th August

Holbrook Peninsula Sports Centre 10am - 3pm

£15.00 for the day and a football prize for all who attend

Open to boys and girls age 5 - 12 years.

    Health Walks


    Think you could be more active? Then come and join us for a lunchtime walk, get some fresh air, meet new people and enjoy complimentary refreshments after the walk.

    Babergh District Walks programme  July -September 2010

    Each walk will last approximately 40 - 45 minutes and you can walk at your own pace.

    No need to book just turn up on the day. Please arrive 15 minutes before your first walk
    to complete a registration form.  Walks in Sudbury start outside the Quay Theatre in Quay Lane with refresments there after the walk. Walks in Hadleigh start outside the Library and refreshments will be at "The Orangerie" after the walk.

    Junior Coaching Sessions at Hintlesham Golf Club

     

    Starting Saturday 3rd April 2010 every Saturday morning until September 2010

    Non-member times 09:00 -10:00 & 10:00 - 11:00

    A six week course costs £35 or pay per week sessions cost £6.50 each.

    Each week has a different theme so come along as often as you like.

    Plant Identification Courses 

    These courses are free and open to anyone aged 18 or over. There are twenty places per course and are suitable for people with little or basic knowledge of wild plants. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
