BABERGH'S RESPONSE TO HADLEIGH TOWN COUNCIL'S 17TH NOVEMBER LETTER

Babergh District Council today issued the following statement from Cllr. Nick Ridley, Chairman of the Strategy Committee in response to a letter sent by Hadleigh Town Council and released to the media:
“Babergh is rather surprised by Hadleigh Town Council’s concerns as they had no less than three representatives present at the meeting in question! At this stage, prior to the investigations by the architect who will be working to a brief agreed to by the Town Council amongst other partners, it is important not to rule out any option for the so-called putting green. This piece of land could indeed be included within the sale of East House or, equally, it could even form part of the land available for a future new pool. Finally, it may not be affected at all”.
