Babergh District Council has just produced the second edition of a publication aimed at keeping local firms up to date with business related issues. Business in Babergh will be distributed shortly to nearly 2000 companies across the area in advance of the Council’s annual business evening being held tomorrow at the Stoke by Nayland Golf Club.
“Babergh works closely with the local business community in many ways and the aim of Business in Babergh is to further improve how we communicate with local companies” explained Neil Henry, the Council’s Economic & Community Development Manager.
The magazine has articles on a range of key issues including making the most of international trade, how Babergh's Local Plan aims to secure key employment sites, the opportunities of the 'New Growth Point' status for the Haven Gateway Partnership and how Babergh is trying to improve it’s business directory.
“Three out of every four businesses in Babergh employ four people or less and we are aware that they do not always have the time to keep up-to-date with everything that may have an impact on their future prospects. The aim of Business in Babergh is to provide them with that information in any easy to digest format” concluded Neil Henry.
