Cllr Nick Ridley's statement on behalf of Babergh in response to the latest Boundary Commitee anouncement.

Summary

Cllr Nick Ridley said: “Babergh District Council is extremely frustrated by this further delay as it extends the period of uncertainty for residents, councillors and staff for at least another five months and in reality for much longer than that, which is not helpful to anyone.

"In everyone's interests, this review process should be completed as quickly as possible and, in the meantime, we would urge the Secretary of State to give immediate clarity on the revised timetable for implementation of any new arrangements."
