Babergh’s 2010/11 Budget

Babergh District Council has approved plans for £1.6 million in savings and efficiencies in its 2010/11 budget. The cut backs were agreed after months of negotiation and deliberation as Councillor Nick Ridley, Chairman of the Strategy Committee explains:

Babergh District Council has also announced a Council Tax increase of 3% for the coming financial year - which is roughly on a par with most other Suffolk local authorities:
