How to pay your Excess Charge Notice (car park fine).

Your excess charge notice will cost you £15 if paid within 7 days of date of issue.  After 7 days this rises to £45.

Please use the online payment system to pay your excess charge notice.

The form is one page long and will take approximately three minutes to complete.

We will need to know the following:

  • Payment details
  • Card details
  • Your details

When you have submitted the payment, a receipt showing a transaction number, the amount paid, date and time of the transaction will be displayed. The receipt can be printed, or you can e-mail a copy to yourself.

Cheque or postal order - Make the cheque payable to Babergh District Council and post to the Council offices, Corks Lane, Hadleigh, Ipswich, Suffolk IP7 6SJ, enclosing the excess charge notice.
In person - You can take your payment and excess charge notice to our Cashiers Office at the Council main office in Corks Lane, Hadleigh.

9.00am to 4.30pm Fri.
